Service Specialist Schedule & Inventory

Do you thrive on structure and accuracy, and enjoy being at the heart of operational systems? Do you take pride in making sure things are correct, aligned, and running smoothly behind the scenes? If so, the role of Schedule Distribution Specialist at SAS might be the perfect fit for you.

As a Schedule Distribution Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that SAS flight schedules are correctly distributed, aligned, and maintained across multiple internal and external systems. This is a role for someone who values precision, consistency, and depth of expertise rather than constant change.

Challenges you will work on:

In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality and accuracy of flight schedule data. You will:

  • Manage and distribute flight schedules across multiple operational systems.
  • Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies or deviations.
  • Coordinate schedule updates, changes, and corrections.
  • Follow established processes while identifying when something doesn’t look right.
  • Register new and manage existing codeshare agreements.

Act as a key point of contact for schedule-related data alignment across stakeholders.

Your attention to detail and structured way of working will be essential to keeping operations running smoothly.

The Team

You will be part of the Network Scheduling team, a focused group of professionals who value accuracy, calm problem-solving, and mutual support. The team works closely together and takes pride in delivering reliable, high-quality outputs that are critical to SAS operations.

To be successful, we believe you have:

  • Enjoy working with systems, rules, and structured processes.
  • Are patient, detail-oriented, and methodical in your approach.
  • Prefer depth of knowledge and stability over constant change.
  • Take responsibility for your work and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Are comfortable working independently as well as part of a small, focused team.

Experience with airline operations, scheduling systems, or complex IT-supported workflows is considered a plus, but not a requirement.
